This is a use counter for a boardgame Ecos (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/279254/ecos-first-continent). I always had an issue with the card usage counting mechanic in this game (you rotate the card to match number of remaining uses on the top edge), as it makes it harder to keep track what your cards do, especially for new players. We used six sided dice with success for this purpose, but they are bit cumbersome as you have to always find the side with on less pip. These counters have only four sides in successive decrements, so you only rotate them to the next visible (from your POV) and lower denomination. The plate has 4x12 pieces, which is more than enough for most four player games, we usually have between 4 and 8 cards active on the board, so it should suffice even in six player game. The counters have a hole for a 16mm M4 screw so that it is heavier and harder to flip accidentally (also why it has 100% infill). Exact dimensions of the hole are 16x4.5mm bottom tube, 4x8.5mm
