EDC Folding Utility Knife

This is an EDC folding multi-tool knife. Compact in size and easy to carry, it is designed to prevent accidental opening when closed, while providing a secure lock when deployed.Printing requires only one easily removable support structure. Assembly is simple, involving just 4 parts. No additional hardware, glue, or tools are needed. This project draws inspiration from the design by Shop Therapy.[Link].I adopted its overall structure but made modifications based on my own ideas. Key changes include improving the blade retention mechanism for better stability when open, and introducing a snap-fit design to secure the handle. As a result, the blade is now unlikely to open accidentally when folded. However, these changes also make one-handed opening more difficult – a deliberate trade-off for enhanced safety.
