EDC-Friendly Utility Knife Gen IV (Cutting Slot Optimized, Keychain Hole Optimized) This project is a spin-off of an older model. It’s got a better cutting slot and keychain hole. The cutting slot can now handle rope up to 4.5mm thick safely. The keychain hole is now easier to put onto regular key rings. When you push the blade out, there's a nice amount of resistance, and it makes a satisfying clicking sound. Important: This knife is only meant for light jobs, like opening packages. Never use it for heavy-duty tasks. This was tested using Stanley-style blades. It also works with slightly smaller blades, but do not use bigger blades. Tested Materials: PLA, PLA Lite, and PETG all work well. Avoid using materials that shrink a lot, like ABS, as it might make the blade slide roughly. Printing Info: Supports aren't needed. Printing takes about 45 minutes, uses only about 15g of filament. Makes a great little gift for friends or customers. Versions: Left-hand version and right-hand v
