As well as 3D printing, I dabble in a little basic woordwork and metalwork, and I've meant to get one of these handy gadgets forever. So, first practical print on my Kobra S1 is... (band plays a fanfare) a parallel edge marking guage!!! The only hardware needed is a short wood screw, just long enough to stick it's point through the hole (5mm) in the left end of the ruler piece and an M6 knurled screw to lock the slider. I printed the guage in black PETG, then filled the text and graticule wit white acrylic paint and sanded off and washed it once dry. (Haven't done that to the cursor in the slider yet, reprinting due to a minor imperfection in the slider because of a power failure and restart. You could just as easily slice it for a multicolour print in PLA and do a fill paint inside the embossed numbers and mm lines in OrcaSlicer or AnycubicSlicerNext.
