Egg Spring Shield

The shield is simply a spring which is designed to change the kinetic energy in the falling egg+shield into displacement in the spring. Also the shield is designed to hold the egg in a springy way so it can accept almost any shape of an egg. The shield holds the egg from the strongest points which are the apexes. Finally a drop test was performed to show the stress points and deformation using ABS plastic as the material for the shield .
