This design is created using the centerline-trace (autotrace) tool (https://github.com/fablabnbg/inkscape-centerline-trace). After some manual adjustments, the resulting drawing was streched by 150% to nicely plot on eggs.

Note that meanwhile autotrace is integrated in Inkscape.
