EinStar Handle #einstarhandledesign
I am pleased to share my ergonomic solution for the Shining3D EinStar scanner to you all.
As always, I started with the project by making 2D sketches first.
I then 3D printed the scanner model where I custom made a clay model.
After various ergonomics and "grip" tests, I marked some parts, I didn't waste much time in modeling the clay to perfection since I only needed it as an initial reference.
Once the shape was defined, I captured the real model with my trusty Shining3D EinscanH 3D scanner.
I then brought the meshes back to SolidEdge to proceed with the reverse engineering of the reference surfaces.
From here I started to define the first lasts focusing on the most ergonomic last adhering to the scanned model.
So I printed the first solution but honestly it didn't fully satisfy me.
I'm referring to the design, so as a second elaboration of the CAD I tried to give a more coherent line to the EinStar.
I studied various designs and referr
