This is a project to convert the Ekocycle (Cube 3) printer that was gifted by Coca-Cola to robotics teams, into a functional printer using open filament, and open source software.
The parts for this were printed out of ABS on a Monoprice Select Mini V1, using a polycarbonate build plate. Ramps was chosen due to its flexibility as a platform, and its low price. The Ramps 1.4 board was converted to 24v due to the operating voltage of the motors (It runs terribly at 12v), and will hopefully be replaced with a custom Ramps design if I have the time.
The parts as uploaded are in some strange orientations, something that will need to be fixed. Everything should all be able to be printed without supports, though I would definitely recommend them.
A BOM will be uploaded when possible, as long as future updates to the printed parts.
