Elastic Chord Tie

This is a useful tie for use with elastic chords. Useful for tying up bundles of items, and rolled up items such as moving blankets etc. I also use these to tie items to the cargo barrier in my van (Please don't use to secure loads). If you plan to keep these in your car or cab, make sure you print them in heat resistant filament, but PLA is good for general indoor storage use. I have even used these to recycle some of the used rubber spline used to secure fly screens. They are however harder to use, as they are not as flexible as commercial chord.

The model I've uploaded is good for 5mm chord, but can be scaled by 20% up or down to accommodate 4mm and 6mm chord.

I generally print them with the face around the standing end of the chord on the baseplate.
