Raccoons were digging potholes in the lawn while searching for tasty worms and grubs.

The wire support is designed to accept a 1mm solid wire, which snap locks into a top feature with a twist. I used aluminum wire from a welding wire spool as the electric fence wire. The support was printed in black ABS for some UV protection. I printed the wire supports hollow because they have adequate strength for the task and they print faster. For strong ABS prints you will need a heated bed and heated enclosure.

The original electric pet fence had wire supports that were very strong and extremely visible (plus ugly). This support is much less visible and less strong, which is perfect for my needs.

Designed in Fusion 360 and printed on a Cetus mk2 extended on a 110C heated Ultrabase build surface (plus many other printer mods).

Tip:
In a pinch a paper bag over top of the printer will capture the rising hot air from the heated bed and reduce cold drafts on the print surface. With a 3-
