Electrical normally closed switch

This is a self-made electrical normally closed switch. I used it in a car to switch on light when the hood is opened. The cover is also the mounting bracket. I used a spring from a ballpoint pen, two washers and a nut insert to create the electrical function.
The cables are soldered on the lower washer and the nut insert.
