This box is designed to hold electronics that include a commonly available 20X4 LCD display module and rotary encoder. The front face has a cutout for the LCD and mount holes that include standoffs so that the LCD fits flush.

The front face also has a mounting hole for a rotary encoder. The thickness of this mounting area has been made thinner than the rest of the face plate to allow for mounting a rotary encoder using the threaded neck + surface mount nut.

The top of the box slides in place on an integrated track, and the back of the box screws on with mounting holes. The electronics inside the box are mounted on a piece of lexan that I cut to size. I drilled holes in the lexan and used nylon screw standoffs to mount an ardu
