Elegant Gift Box

This is a small elegant box with hinged lid using hidden hinges and small magnets to keep it closed. The box uses 3mm x 2mm magnets like these https://a.co/d/gKtdGAn from Amazon and these concealed barrel hinges from Amazon like these https://a.co/d/3iLWSql. There are two version of the lid, one with a simple flower pattern on the top and the other plain so you can add your own text of pattern. The magnets should be a press fit (I used a small vise to push them in). Make sure you get the polarity of the two magnets correct or otherwise the lid will be repelled from the base rather than keeping it closed. The hinges should be and easy fit and I use a carefully placed drop of superglue in each hole to keep them in (careful not to glue the lid to the base of stick the hinge halves together) The “female” part of the hinge goes in the base and the “male” in the lid. Put both hinges in the base then the lid. Enjoy!
