Elephant Tea Maker

I made this Elephant tea maker for the #CountertopChallenge

Inside is an Arduino board and a servo motor. My original thought was to use an easy pivot point to move the trunk up and down but decided an animatronic trunk would be more of a challenge and more fun to watch.

The trunk needs some improvements and I'd like to add more roundness and general detail to the elephant.

I designed him in Sketchup after many hours of trial and error and banging my head. I'm still learning 3D design and find it difficult to translate my vision into actual objects on the computer!
