This design uses an ellipsoid attached to a cube. The inside of the cube is spherical with an cylindrical ellipse cut into the face at 90 degrees out of phase with the ellipsoid. When two off these blocks are joined twist 90 degrees and they will interlock allowing for some movement between blocks.
