Elysium Grenades

Presenting a rendition of the grenades from Niell Blomkamp's 2013 film, Elysium.

Multiple variants of the grenades are shown in the film and concept art, with each variant appearing to adopt the same style of body. These consist of the HMX Hi-Explosive, INCEN, and SMTx-M-22 variants.

The .stl files and graphics provided are based off reference images and concept art from the film. The 3D files were modelled in Fusion.

The "real-world" scale of the grenades was guesstimated from reference images. The overall dimensions of the provided .stl's when assembled come out to approx. 130mm high, and 65mm by 70mm wide. The graphics provided are scaled to match these dimensions. The main body was modelled hollow to allow for filling with plaster or other materials, to provide additional heft and weight.
