Lowering kit for Emax Hawk 5. Makes the body lower by 5mm. New camera mount, shorter stand-offs (20mm).
The camera mount is meant to be made from carbon fiber (1.5mm thick) and the stand-offs are to be aluminium (20mm). It also requires removing the small plastic tubes below PDB and 13mm screws to replace the original HW.
I have printed a prototype from PETG and seems to be working. Printed camera mount and stand-offs. The stand-offs have 3.1mm inner diameter - this worked for me to easily tap using a 3mm tap. The outside diameter printed to spec. but the inside kept being too small. Uploaded two sets of STL files, one optimized for printing, and the other in original size.
It can even house a ViFly finder mounted on the bottom side of the top plate (when split into battery, PCB, buzzer).
Edit: Made it from carbon fiber and aluminum as well, works great.
