Emblaser Core DC Plate

This is a plate for the Emblaser Core Laser Etcher that houses the AC to DC Convertor.

Originally I used a strip of 50mm/2" Velcro on the back of my Emblaser Core to hold the AC to DC Convertor Box, but the box was too heavy for the velcro and it would intermittently peel off and fall.

So I modelled up this backing plate which bolts on to the exisiting holes that are in place on the Emblaser Core. Essentially you just need to print this model, then behind in the back left corner of your Emblaser Core you need to unfasten 4 Screws (2 from the Controller Board, 2 from the Frame Supports), then line this up and re-fasten all 4 Bolts.

The AC to DC Box fits in here with a small 1mm gap for sliding left to right. I allowed this gap as I intended to put my strip of velcro back in which assists with securing left to right movement as well as securing the cables which I have held together with a velcro cable tie. This is depicted in the images.
