Make yourself a cheap DIY RTK base!
Enclosure for an Emlid M2 GNSS RTK receiver and it's antenna for tripod mounting.
The design is composed by three parts:
- The Housing: main structural part that will hold the M2 receiver, 3 holes in top should be used for placing metal threaded inserts for M3 screws. Several inserts are available in the market, adapt it for your own needs.
- The Cap: attach the antenna to it, using the two screws supplied with the antenna, add the wire and screw it to the Housing.
- The Thread: this is a 5/8"-11 tread, compatible with my tripod. Features 4 holes for thread inserting, so it could be screwed to the Housing, however gluing should work just fine if you don't need a modular setup.
