EMPTY SPOOL HOLDER HUB

As the empty filament spools started to accumulate, I needed to figure out how to store them efficiently until I can come up with some clever use for them. I didn't want to print the whole thing as that would probably be at least an entire spool, a ridiculous amount of hours and the center pipe would not be very strong with layer lines and multiple connection points. PVC pipe is very strong and cheap (I spent $36 USD on this project). I just needed a customized hub for a base connection. The hub is designed for ¾" pipe for the base and 1 ½" for the center pipe. For those that may not be familiar, those sizes for the PVC pipe are the internal diameter sizes. I designed the hub with a bit of a taper to have a nice snug fit for the ¾" pipe. The center is not a snug fit as I wanted a nice and secure fit with screws. I also designed a cap for the center pipe. It's not necessary. I just wanted to prevent critters from moving in.
