What is this?
Simple modification to convert an Ender 3 3D printer to a 3-point bed level system.
Fits Ender 3, Ender 3 V2. 2 printed parts and 2 nuts/bolts are all the parts needed.
a 3mm and 5mm drill bit along with a countersink bit and drill are the only tools needed that don't come with the Ender.
The modification is completely reversible, leaving only 2 small holes in the aluminum support plate.
Why a 3-point bed level?
As another noted somewhere out there in the 'verse " Three points define a plane. 4 points define a potato chip." This bending and warping of the build plate is made even worse with stiffer springs that are sold as a solution to a nonexistent problem.
Convert to a 3-poit system and eliminate this warping problem permanently.
Update:
Added file for larger diameter silicone 'springs'.
