Ender 3 / 2020&4040 Extrusion Ball Joint Camera Mount
This is a mount for the Ender 3/Pro/V2 or any printer with 20x20 or 40x40 V-slot extrusions. There are 2 mount files, one for the 20x20 extrusion on the sides/top of a printer, and one for the 40x40/base extrusions on a printer. These have ball joints with a 13/16mm diameter, which can be printed to allow positioning a camera. I have made a frame that generic Go-Pro style action cameras can slot into with a ball on the end to slot in to the joints. If the ball joints are too loose, wrap them in electrical tape or something similar to make a better grip, or scale up the ball segment by a few percent.
Uses:
I use this to mount a Victure Action Camera to my printer, so I can stream/watch my print from somewhere else. The camera has wifi transmission and USB, so I can send it to OBS then stream it to a private Youtube channel or record the print.
Print Times:
On the Ender 3 V2 with 50mm/s standard speeds, and 5mm/s for the first l
