NEW UPDATE 4/22/2019 -WORKS NICELY FOR ME - (Looking forward to feedback)
loosened the fit for the bolts
added a fillet to the inside corner at the flange for easier installation.
Made the band thinner so that it stretches easier.
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION
I got the idea from adarkstudio to use the factory Ender 3 filament spool holder as a base and just strap some bearings to it to reduce the friction of the filament roll.
one part has a lip, one does not, I'm not sure if the lip is needed, but it doesn't hurt to have it to keep your roll form sliding off. YOU WILL NEED TWO ROLLERS ASSEMBLIES FOR YOUR SPOOL HOLDER.
Mine uses less hardware and smaller bearings to accommodate hatchbox and amazon filaments with a spool inner diameter of 60 mm. The largest outer diameter of this roller design is 50.5 mm for the one without a lip, and 55.7mm for the one with the lip.
I suggest using 4mm phillips or allen head bolts for the bearing and for the clamping onto the Ender shaft.
