For whatever reason the spool holder for the ender 3 (pro) is mounted in a way that the spool has to be put on from the backside of the printer. This can be a hassle in tight spaces. So I designed a bracket where you can mount the holder inverted.
I use the spool holder from HugoHuge: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3020026 and using my bracket the spool center-line is also in line with the extruder now, not offset to one side.
There are two versions:
- with a T-slot, this one does not require additional materials but may not be as durable. This is the one I currently use. The t-nuts are a tight fit, but it should work with the stock t-nuts that came with the printer.
- with holes for screws, I have prepared it digitally but not printed it yet.
Both simply slide on the top 2020 extrusion of the printer.
