I really liked the overall deign of MrRat's light diffuser, but I found it to be a little too large for my liking. So, using his model as a reference, I decided to make a smaller version, with some modifications to suit my needs.
I made my version much smaller in size - reducing the filament needed to print, print time, and most importantly making the thing look less obtuse and out of place on the printer itself. (SEE PHOTO FOR COMPARISON)
Additionally, I slightly decreased width of the portion of the diffuser that sits over the printer's stock light bar. I found that MrRat's model was very gratuitous with the spacing and the diffuser liked to move around pretty freely. I reduced the width of this portion so that the diffuser naturally clamps over the light bar, keeping it in place without the need for adhesives.
Lastly, I modeled my own end caps for the diffuser. I found the beam of light shooting out the sides particularly annoying, and wanted a way to block/soften the light comi
