Ender 3 Spool Holder Side Mount

I tried a few side mounts but they always seemed to be in the way. This mount gives a much more even pull to the extruder. No extra filament guide needed! Be careful tightening up the bolts to the 20/20. If your frames Allen head bolts stick up too much you may want to either move the mount back or recess the base in that area with a remix. None of this was necessary for mine, but I can see it happening as I dented the base with my bolts.

You will need two M5x10 mm bolts and two M5 nuts for installation in addition to the two M5x8 mm bolts and T-nuts that are already included with the printer. Use the original M10x8 mm bolts to attach the metal bar to the printed mount and the new M5x10 mm bolts to attach the plastic mount to the printer frame using T-nuts.
