The Ender 3 is just about the perfect printer!

But the fact that I couldn't center my prints on the build plate was always bugging me.

The Switch Slider will allow you to move the X-Axis limit switch a few millimeters to the left and allow you to center your prints. You may also have to adjust the Y-Axis for dead-center but that just takes some T-Nuts to mount to the frame.

I also like this mod because it allows you to get rid of the boxy cover that hides the X-Axis stepper bolts and makes adjusting the pulley difficult.
If you are going to install stepper vibration dampers, this is a great mod to do at the same time! I can't recommend dampers enough, my Ender 3 is virtually silent with them.

Several important notes:

You will need two or three M3 x 4mm screws. The Switch Slider fits into the X-gantry very snugly and probably doesn't need the screw that anchors it to the extrusion. If your slider is too big to fit, try reducing your flow to 95-98%.
