Glue or screws with nuts can be used to connect the two pieces together. Align the four prefabricated holes and insert 4 each machine screws and nuts. Holes my need a 3.5 mm drill bit run through to clean it up and make some room for the screw to go through. Next, loosen the spool attachment hardware to allow enough room for the mounting piece to be mounted to the hardware and slid down to engage. Tighten the spool attachment hardware to be snug plus maybe half turn to secure.
