I remixed the webcam arm mount from aallensd to fit my needs.
Also provided scad file for others as a starting point to design their own mount.
I used the library roundedcube by "groovenectar"/"Dan Upshaw"
https://gist.github.com/groovenectar/92174cb1c98c1089347e
You can disable the usage of roundedcube, then it will just use a regular cube.
The STL file was created with the rounded cube.
There are 3 options to print in the code:
USE_ROUNDED_CUBE
as explained before.
SHOW_ARM
This will show the arm part
SHOW_BASE
This will show the base part which is screwed to the Ender 3 rail.
SHOW_MOUNT
This will show the camera mount part.
It is designed to be used with a 6x50mm screw at as the hinge.
After finally printing everything and testing it out, it is very susceptible to vibrations, the life feed in octoprint os very wobbly. The octolapse filters it out almost completely, just something to be aware.
I might tinker a bit and try to make it less vibrating later
