This is a simple, fully customizable, and adjustable Z-mount for the Ender 3 printer. I was tired of Z-axis binding and I couldn't find a good Z-mount that I could easily adjust. The attached openSCAD file has all the parameters you need to adjust the thickness hole diameters and adjustment limits. I also like this design because you don't need to remove the x-axis to install. I may thicken up the parts after testing for a while, but so far so good.
##This does not use the stock countersunk M4 screws. I'm using button head M4 and M3 screws.
### How to use the fudge factor variable in the SCAD file for best fit
Print off the piece and mount the Z-stepper to the frame and tighten the screws. If you don't have a gap between the bottom extrusion and the bottom of the stepper then great. If you do, then you can measure the gap with feeler gauges and change the fudge factor to match. I had a 0.45mm gap and after inputting this into the fudge factor the stepper is tight on bot
