Ender 3d Pro - filament guide spool

This spool has been designed to provide an assisted side entry for the filament into the feeder.

The mounting plate is the maximum thickness possible to be able to use the existing bolts on the X axis stepper drive mount.

When the print is complete, care should be taken when removing the supports, especially around the spool. Following an initial hard twist (it is worth leaving the supports in for this part) the spool will begin to rotate about its shaft and after continued manual rotation it will become free enough for its intended use.
