I built a cabinet for my 6 with a tray that slides out so i can access the spool on the side... except the tray doesn't come out far enough so i needed to move the spool :P
I've moved the spool to the fron of the machine on the same side, it was easy enough to holesaw a new hole for it and mount it on the front rail instead. but it left an ugly hole in the old position and the angle of approach for for filament into the runout sensor was less than optimal.
This fixes both problems, fills the gap and guides the filament through more gently. you can use as i have with a short piece of bowden tubing, or just run it through and it should be fine.
would suit someone like me that lacked the foresight to build a cabinet correctly, or just someone that wants the filament closer to the front.
Printed in PLA+ with 40% infil and it's plenty strong enough.
