WARNING: printing this right now might be the same thing as cutting off a very long piece of filament and putting it in the trash
thanks goes to atomare. I've started tweaking this in hopes it'll jive with the ender 3 @ using .2 layer height
will it work?
version history
v1 - ~~t8 screw threads too small, ring doesn't spin freely~~ REMOVED
v2 - t8 screw socket scaled to 1.1, threads didn't even print but it actually still worked. expecting play will develop over time
v3 - ~~created rigid assembly then export, though i expect the thread issue is slic3r~~ REMOVED
v4 - ~~scaled the ring down nonuniformly to x,y factor .98, no idea if this will allow it spin or maybe it will just fall out :)~~ REMOVED
v5 - 2nd attempt to address (scaled) threads not printing. I've combined the thread and shaft bodies into one. Ring scaling removed (too loose) - UNTESTED (will upload when I find the time to test, if you want to test sooner leave a comment)
