Engine Turning Jeweling Mandrel

This is a cupped mandrel to hold discs of scotch brite pad. I used rubber cement inside the cup to hold the scotch brite pad in place. This tool, used in a drill press, will allow you to do engine turning/ jeweling patterns on soft metal sheets. If you are using something like aluminum tape or the like, I highly advise you tu use a foam board backing to distribute the pressure.
