Here is my own model of a USB-C dust cap. The prevailing models all print vertically which just seems dangerous to me. Too easy for it to snap off at a layer line leaving you a big problem with a broken off hunk of plastic in your USB-C port. I’ve made my own model that prints horizontally to eliminate this risk. It has internal detents to catch the ISO notches in the USB-C port for retention. Cap is chamfered on the inside and outside edge to allow easy removal from the port as desired. There are two plates in this print, one the standard length and one that is 1mm shorter for some applications. Print profile has been optimized to print the thin walls and minute details, alter at your own peril. As such, simple cloning of the object to print multiples will likely not work great so I'm adding a print profile with 6 pack of plugs that are set to print by object prevent issues. Happy printing!
