Enzyme Catalysis is a process where an enzyme, which is typically a protein, increases the rate of a chemical reaction. This print explains the process of this reactions. The two black parts are the SUBSTRATES that binds into the active side of the enzyme. Rotating the shaft start the reaction process, which ends with the two substrates bind together forming a product. -The finished models are a bit different from the ones in the pictures as I added more text, as well as changed the deep of the engraved text for better looking quality. Some key components to understand are: Active Site: Catalysis generally occurs at a specific location on the enzyme known as the active site. The enzyme binds to one or more reactant molecules, known as substrates, at this site. Catalytic Action: Enzymes lower the activation energy of the reaction, which is the energy required for the reaction to begin. This increases the fraction of reactant molecules that can overcome the energy barrier and form the pro
