My version of Direct Drive extruder for the Eryone Thinker S. With the stepper across the X axis the traveller is very stable and balanced, leading to no issues relevant to speed and mechanical performance of the printer.
Also the use of nuts and washers with the big M5 screws of the wheels gives it a very solid behaviour.
