General Description : This premium edition enclosure was specifically designed to protect your ESP32 board while maintaining ergonomic and practical access to its features. The design blends a modern aesthetic, compactness, and mechanical optimization for 3D printing. The lid features dual flexible push buttons printed directly into the part (no extra components or springs needed), as well as an elegant honeycomb ventilation mesh to prevent the microcontroller from overheating. Key Features : Integrated Mechanical Buttons: "Print-in-place" flexible tab system with internal nubs precisely tuned for a perfect click on the board's tactile switches. Optimized Ventilation: Sleek honeycomb top grid providing excellent airflow while keeping internal components safe. Premium Connectivity: Widened USB-C opening with a lead-in chamfer to accommodate any type of cable, even the thickest ones. GPIO Access: Slots on the bottom of the case allowing header pins to pass through if you want to connect external components or mount it to a protoboard. Clean Aesthetics: Elegant "shadow line" groove at the split-line of the two halves and rounded corners for a smooth feel in hand. Print-Ready Design: Parts are oriented in their ideal printing position. The lid prints face-down on the build plate to achieve a flawless surface finish (especially beautiful on a textured PEI sheet!). 🛠️ Recommended Print Settings Print Orientation: Print both parts flat on their widest face (already configured by default in the OpenSCAD code). Supports: No supports required (the bridges on the honeycomb grid and USB-C slot print easily without supports). Layer Height: 0.2 mm (or 0.16 mm for a sharper finish on the buttons). Infill: 15% to 20% (Gyroid or Grid). Wall Loops/Perimeters: 3 walls minimum to ensure the structural strength of the snap-fits and flexible button hinges. Material: PLA (ideal for the springiness of the flexible buttons) or PETG.
