Ethernet Crimping Tool

I needed an ethernet crimping tool but couldn't find my regular one. I printed this, used the pins pulled out of a spare ethernet end as the pressing point, and added a drop of thin super glue to hold them in place. I used an M3 heat set insert and an M3 bolt as the hinge. The slots in the lever are far longer than the pins so you can adjust the placement for your particular tips before gluing them in. Note: This tool does not work nearly as well as a commercial crimping tool. I was able to successfully crimp the pins in an end with it but I will still go back and crimp the end with the regular tool. As I closed it, I had to make sure the pins were all lined up by sighting through the opening as I intentionally left some side to side float so I could adjust as needed. Again, this does not work nearly as well as a commerical crimping tool. This worked in the interim though and for me was better than trying to set the pins with a tiny screwdriver.
