Security and weather protection for connection between POE IP camera and ethernet cable. The screw portion splits in two and has cavity to hold junction then the case threads over screw and is secured to surface. Ends are sealed with silicone caulk. I’ve been using this for a little over 3 years now and recently replaced one when relocating the camera and found the connections inside were good as new.
