My connectors outside of the house degrade after years. Their covers break due to the sun degradation. I made this plug out of ASA so that it is usable also well in direct sunlight. The goal is to keep bugs, rain and environmental effects out of the plugs, while it's easy to place inside and remove when it's needed. I didn't make an exact plug to prevent the continuous wear of a plug in these connectors, while I made the outside surface to shape that brings rain and dew down from the connector. Check out the photos to understand how it should be placed inside the connector.
