Eufy E340 Doorbell Mounting Block

I recently replaced our older Ring doorbell and outdoor cameras with stuff from Eufy. The doorbell has a great feature set, but with one small problem (for me at least). The doorbell is much narrower than the Ring, so installing it would leave visible holes from the old Ring installation. So, I got to work in Onshape, with this as the result. Mounting the doorbell to the plate is easy, using M3 screws, though you'll need to drop in a couple of heat-set inserts to accommodate those screws. By default, this is setup for Ruthex M3 inserts, but if you need another size, drop a comment here and I can easily adjust. There's a drilling template included as well so you can easily line up your install before you drill any holes! Is it thick? Yes, it is. Why? To leave plenty of room for wiring. Many mounts like these often leave that detail out, so you end up having to jam the wires into a smaller space than you should. If your install is wired, you might want to account for that necessary space
