Europe map puzzle

Map of the Europe, with the various countries as puzzle pieces.

The puzzle is set within a frame, consisting of two pieces - the sea and the land mass consisting primarily of Russia. The frame holds the pieces together nicely when in place and also acts as an aid to puzzle piece location. I cut and glue a piece of cardboard underneath to hold the puzzle frame together and make the puzzle portable. The smaller countries have been grouped with a larger country, or together, as they are too small on their own as suitable puzzle pieces. The islands off Italy can be left as puzzle pieces, although they are rather small, or incorporated into the frame.

The file consists of various layers. The country names are grouped with the boundary lines (marked as red lines) of the smaller countries - this layer needs to be engraved first, before the country boundary layer, and frame layer can be laser cut together.
