Exhalation Port Cover

This is a cover for a 22mm OD disposable exhalation port (specifically Respironics #1132982 ports). It features a hole on the side to allow exhaled breaths to still pass even if the main port is obstructed. I made this for my son who would often set off rebreathing alarms on his vent by lying on the port. To attach it, simply slide it onto the exhalation port. There is a slot for the smaller tube to fit into and a second slot to slide the rubber cover into to lock it all into place. Keep in mind that FDM printing creates layer lines that facilitate bacteria growth. It's a good idea to replace these out regularly (I print a new one every week). Note: This is not a medical device.
