Hi!
Problems fitting some parts?? Pins are wider than desired?
**UPDATE!!! BETTER SOLUTION: Change 'Horizontal Expansion' **
**This is an old piece made for testing assembling part. 2 years ago i worked reducing flow for some pieces to avoid the 'horizontal growth' but the better solution i have by far is tweaking the 'horizontal expansion' to get a good fit in pieces that require assembling.**
Use this piece as a test for tuning your settings qhen printing assembling parts.
Solution is about controlling the 'flow' of material extruded doing some tests and measuring with any kind of calibration tool.
I have no calibration tool and this is my solution: A simple cilinder and a ring that must fit.
Easy and fast print.
Print-->Test-->Adjust flow an do it again until you get the correct flow value.
WARNING: reducing too much flow (under 75% apeox.) can do underextrusion issues. Combine Flow control with 'Horizontal expansion' parameter to get the result you need.
