Info An external optical drive bay because no modern case has an internal one :). Usefull if you want a cheap BluRay drive that you can connect to different devices. You'll need a sata to usb adapter to be able to connect it with a usb. The one I use is the Vantec CB-ST00U3. If you use a different adapter you might need to change the size of the hole at the back. The spacing is quite generous so it'll likely not be a problem. Also has a stackable version with 2.5mm clearance between units for the screw heads securing the optical drive to the case. Printing Printable with any filament, I used PLA. Print without supports standing up from the back face. Size Width: 153mm Height: 53mm Depth: 208mm If you have a slightly longer optical drive there's also a version with extra clearance for longer drives. Normal version max drive length: 171mm Extra clearance max drive length: 181mm Hardware 4x M3 x 8mm screw Vantec CB-ST00U3 (or other adapter)
