Extra Large Soap Dish

A large soap dish that can hold 2 bars of soap. Why? Because my missus prefers 1 soap and I prefer another, never the twain shall meet again in a gooey mess again.

This is the first useful-ish thing I've made in 123D and printed. I don't claim it's particularly good, it just served a need in our kitchen and maybe bathroom, should I print another.

The dish measures about W:155mm D:93mm H:30mm

I made the wall of the tray quite thick, so it should stay pretty solid if shrunk to fit just 1 bar of soap (blasphemy!!!).

I printed mine in PLA, with a layer height of 0.2mm, a wall of 1.2mm and 20% infill, to make sure the flat bits printed well. I didn't use supports, but if I were to print a 2nd one, I probably would; around the base of the dish. The drainer shouldn't need any supports, as I added steep arches underneath, between the long sections, if that makes sense.

I won't be making any changes to this. Just thought I'd upload it, in case anyone else needed a big soap dish,
