Extra Small Fish Tank Filter

A few months ago, I bought a similar filter for my aquarium. It worked great but started to leak air out of the seams rendering it useless. I saw this as an opportunity to design my own filter!

This aquarium filter combines bio-filtration and oxygenation all in one unit. It helps your small fish live happy and healthy. It is perfect for use in 0.5 - 5 gallon fish tanks.

You will need a sponge filter. I added one that was 3.5" (w) x 3" (h). The sponge inside diameter is 0.59".

Also, an aquarium suction cup is needed. Mine had a 0.25" hole to attach to the filter.

Just attach an air tube to your bubbler and it works like a charm!
