Extruder Camera Mount

This is a project that I have been working on for a while, I am sure there are many tweaks to the design to make it better. Feel free to remix it. I can upload the Fusion files upon request.

This is a magnetic extruder mounted raspberry pi cam. Designed for the CR10S Pro, it mounts to the extruder and is auto aligned to point direct at the extruder nozzle tip. This is so I can monitor the first few layers of a print up close to ensure a good first layer.

It is two parts, and bolted together with some M2 12mm hex bolts. I ordered an extra long camera cable which plugs into the raspberry pi which sits to the side of the printer. I also added a usb led light strip to the extruder as it was a bit dark.

I have seen other mounted solutions and some of them had arms that seemed like they would get in the way. This solution is simple, accurate, and minimal. I printed the finished version in Formlabs durable resin, but I am sure that any material should work just fine. It is not the mo
