Fab Stool (3-Part FDM Stool)
A shop stool designed to print on our Gigabot 4 print volume, inspired by the classic CNC-cut fab lab plywood stools. Three parts, no hardware, press-fit assembly. Orca Slicer print settings included.
Print settings (minimum):
Legs — 3 walls, 4 top layers, 4 bottom layers, 8% infill
Seat — 3 walls, 3 top, 3 bottom, 8% infill
Technically fits in a 1kg spool of PLA, but if you have material to spare, bump it to 5 walls or modify to your liking. TPU feet included, just glue them on.
Works great in PLA but would love to see it in different materials! No serious load or stress testing done, so mileage may vary, reinforce to your comfort level.
Remix it, print it, sit on it.
